Off to the Tetons

So you know how it was snowing a little bit? Yeah...We hit the motherload. Heading west from Buffalo we never expected to hit snowdrifts of 5 feet yest here they were in the middle of Wyoming. Hooray for Yellowstone!

I fell asleep and woke up to the sunset over the Grand Tetons. Photos compliments of Adam since I was too groggy to find my camera before it got dark.

We saw moose and LOTS and LOTS of antelope thingers grazing about...but it was dark...so you're just going to have to trust me on this one.
So we were going to camp in Yellowstone, but the campgrounds were closed or full and we had the daylight and energy to drive through to the Tetons, at which point we couldn't find a campground using the GPS. Sooo....we started calling around to hotels, which were all pretty expensive except for the Antler Inn. I spotted a sign for campgrounds and said if they didn't have showers we should continue to the hotel...no showers plus 30 degrees just post-sunset=yay Antler Inn. Wine, PB&J sandwiches, and movies...it may have been a better story in the tent, but it was more comfy after a shower in a hotel :)
